Job Description
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for lighting, fire alarm, ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, and other electrical components using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
• Assist electrical engineers in developing design concepts and layouts in compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and standards.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, well-organized, and meet company and industry standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams to avoid design conflicts in MEP systems.
• Maintain and manage drawing databases, templates, and document control procedures.
• Support BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflows, if applicable.
• Ensure that all electrical drafting work complies with local codes and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
